Samuel R Reese Jr

New Middletown-Samuel R. Reese, 62, died suddenly on Thursday, June 4, 2015 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Detroit, MI on January 29, 1953 to the late Samuel Sr. and Phoebe Leach Reese.
Sam was a member of New Life Church and was employed as a mechanic with TARTAN and prior to that was employed as an assembler with GM and Youngstown Sheet & Tube amongst other jobs.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and belonged to several motorcycle organizations. He was a very kind-hearted man who always put others' concerns before his own. He was very generous and would give you the shirt off his back. He never complained about anything, no matter how much pain he was in he would never let it show. Sam will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
He leaves his three sons, Samuel Reese III, Jamie Reese and Brian Reese; grandchildren, Dylan Sallaz, Gaige Reese, Jamie Reese and Porsha Reese all of Youngstown; sister, Georgia (Raymond) Hoon of New Middletown, Thelma (Jerry) Gawlik of Lisbon, Debra (Ray) Ross of Austintown and Patricia (Robert) Cappitte of Struthers; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be private for the family.
