Struthers- Sally S. Stevens, 82, of Struthers died October 24, 2013 at St. Marys Alzheimer's Center.
Mrs. Stevens was born November 18, 1930 in Struthers, daughter of Cecil and Myrtle McLaughlin Bodine.
She was a 1947 Struthers High School graduate. Sally worked as a LPN for Maplecrest Nursing Home, where she worked for 22 years. She was a member of Struthers Parkside Church, formerly Struthers Presbyterian where she was a deacon and Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the Nurses Association and enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, and reading.
Her husband, Donald, whom she married in 1949, died April 12, 1976.
She leaves one daughter, Judy Swantner (David) Dasen of Struthers; three sons, Mitch Stevens of Struthers, Don (Rema) Stevens of Cape Coral, FL, and Dean (Terry) Stevens of North Jackson; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Sally was preceded in death by two sisters, Daisy Burrell and Becky Kunce.
Services will be held at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Monday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Tuesday from 10-10:45AM at the funeral home.
