Poland - Sally Virginia Gugliotti, 67 of Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, died Sunday, December 27, 2009, at the Hospice House, with her family at her side.
Mrs. Gugliotti was born January 23, 1942 in Youngstown a daughter of Donald and Margaret Williams Snyder, and resided in New Springfield.
She graduated Springfield Local High School in 1960 and had served on the class reunion committee for each reunion since her graduation. Sally was a 10 year member of the 4-H and served on the Canfield Fair Junior Fair Board. She was a member of the Holy Family Church in Poland, and the Struthers Knights of Columbus Society. Sally was the oldest of 38 first cousins being the first grandchild on both sides of her family. She enjoyed and looked forward to the Snyder family reunions and visiting with more than 100 family members who attend. She also enjoyed Cousins Card Club and needlework of all kinds. She was a fan of all Cleveland sports teams.
She leaves her husband of 46 years, Alfred P. Gugliotti, whom she married September 14, 1963, a son Paul Gugliotti of Girard; a daughter Elizabeth Clements and her husband Sean of Austin, TX; a daughter in law Rebecca Gugliotti of Hubbard; 4 grandchildren, Sarah Clements, Anthony, Allyson and Jeremy Gugliotti; two brothers Donald Snyder and his wife, Karen of New Springfield and David Snyder of New Middletown; one sister Maggie Mullen and her husband Bill of North Lima, and numerous nieces and nephews. .
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 4-7 at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland, where prayers will be said Thursday at 9:30 am.
Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday at 10:00 at the Holy Family Church in Poland.
