Services will be held Wednesday 1:00pm at Davis-Becker Funeral Home Boardman for Ruth Virginia (Soper) Reiter. She passed away Saturday afternoon at the Greenbriar Health Care Center.

Mrs. Reiter was born August 8, 1918 in New Castle, PA a daughter of Frank and Emma Minsker Soper. She was a homemaker and member of Heritage Presbyterian Church. She also belonged to AARP #454 and served as the Chair of the Membership Committee.

Her husband John M. Reiter whom she married August 6, 1941 died Jan. 5 1983.

She will be missed by her two nieces Tish Soper and Fran (Tom) Malone both of Boardman, as well as her great nephew Lance Malone of Canfield, her great niece Tracy Malone ( Brian Moore) of Boardman along with Kaden Moore, her great great nephew and Grace Moore, and Raina Malone great great nieces. In particular she will be remembered by her friend of many years Dorothy McKeown and many other loving and faithful family members and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Mary Minsker who helped raise her as well as her brother and sister in law Frank and Margaret Soper and a great-great niece Payton Reilly Moore.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4-6 pm and Wednesday from noon-1:00pm both at the funeral home.

The family also wishes to thank the entire staff and in particular the nurses at the Greenbriar Health Care Center for taking such good care of Ruth as well as the staff of Hospice of the Valley
