Struthers - Ruth A. Rearick, 92, died early Thursday morning, September 3, 2015 at Maplecrest Nursing Home.
Mrs. Rearick was born July 1, 1923 in Wooster, a daughter of James and Amanda Crabtree Massie, and came to Youngstown as a child.
Mrs. Rearick spent the majority of her career working as an accountant and flower designer for Marian's Flowers in Struthers, retiring in 1991 after 25 years of service. She also previously worked for Strouss' Department Store, A&P Grocery Store in Struthers, Carmella's Dress Shop in the Struthers 5th Street Plaza, Pearce Furniture in Struthers, and the Poland Bakery for over 10 years.

Her husband, David E. Rearick, whom she married August 23, 1939, preceded her in death on February 23, 2013. She is survived by her four daughters, Judy Chako of Struthers, Donna (Harry) Smith of Dallas, TX, Sandra (Ralph) Sandy of Struthers, and Delores "Dee" Johnson of Struthers; 10 grandchildren, Kim, Kellie, Vickie, Bruce, Lori, Lisa, Jill, Ralphie, Bill, and Dennis; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Opal Goodrich and Jean Barger; three brothers, Ernest, Gerald, and Leonard Massie; and two sons-in-law, Frank Chako and Bill Johnson.
A private funeral service was held Saturday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
