Ruth Nadine Prater

Ruth Nadine Prater,77 Lowellville-Ruth Nadine Prater,77,of 6058 Center Rd. died Monday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Mrs. Prater was born in Cleveland August 23,1928, a daughter of John and Pauline Davis Poulson. She was a 1946 graduate of Poland Seminary High School. She was a member of the Poland Center Grange; was life member of the Ladies Auxilliary VFW Post # 2799. She assisted with the Poland Auction; and was a member of the Poland Center Homemakers and the Youngstown Eagles #213; and was also active as a 4H advisor and the camp fire girls. Her husband Charles, whom she married May 26,1947,died January 19,2003. She leaves a daughter, Patricia (Gene) Havlik of Robesonia,Pa; two sons, John (Janell) Prater of Lowellville and Robert (Judy) Prater of Poland; one brother, John Poulson;five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Poulson. A memorial service will be held Thursday 6PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home , Poland. Friends may call one hour prior.
