Ruth A. Okrucky

POLAND- Ruth A. Okrucky, 86, of Sunrise Assisted Living, formerly of Denver Dr., died Sunday, September 30th. She was born February 10, 1921 in Homeworth, Ohio, a daughter of Otto and Suzanna Haldiman Hofer. Mrs. Okrucky was a life long area resident. A 1939 graduate of Alliance High School, she worked for Alliance Manufacturing and also was an Inspector of Naval Materials in Alliance. Mrs. Okrucky was a member of the Boardman Baptist Church, where she was an active member. Her husband, Walter C. Okrucky, whom she married July 10, 1954, died October 13, 2002. Mrs. Okrucky leaves a daughter, Carol Okrucky of Tucson, AZ.; a son, James (Christia) Okrucky of Howland, OH; a sister, Margaret Hahn of Alliance, OH; and a grandson, Caleb Okrucky of Tucson, AZ. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred, Walter, and John; and one sister, Alice. Family and friends will be received Saturday from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland where funeral services will be held Saturday at noon with Pastor Dennis Massie officiating.
