Services will be held 1:30 pm Monday at Forest Lawn Chapel for Ruth C. James. She passed away Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Mrs. James was born November28, 1923 in Youngstown, a daughter of Emmett and Sadie Davis McVey. She was a 1942 graduate of Boardman High School and a homemaker.
Her husband John D. James, whom she married June 1, 1946 died April 10, 1992.
Surviving her is a daughter, Carolyn (Robert) Sprinkle of Atlanta, and a son, John D. (MaryAnn) James of Richmond, Va., a brother, Richard W. McVey of Mineral Ridge and four grandchildren, David Sprinkle, Steven Sprinkle, Thomas Sprinkle and Jack James. Also two great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents is a brother John E. McVey. Friend may call Monday from 12:30-1:30pm at Forest Lawn.
