Ruth W. Goldner, 90 Boardman- Ruth W. Goldner, 90, of Shepherd of the Valley formerly of Struthers died Thursday evening at the nursing home. Mrs. Goldner was born June 8, 1913 in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Herbert and Sara Jones Taylor. She lived in Struthers until moving to Boardman in 1986. She worked at Ben Franklin is Struthers retiring as assistant manager. She was a charter member of the Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church and a member of its Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Poland AARP, Poland Extension Club and Share and Care Club. Her husband Ralph E. Goldner whom she married March 19, 1931 died June 13, 1988. She leaves one son, William H. (Sandy) Goldner of Canfield; two granddaughters, Pam Goldner of St. Petersburg, Florida and Bonnie Meridieth of Maumee, Ohio and two great-granddaughters, Kyle and Kelsey Meridieth also of Maumee, Ohio. Besides her parents and husband, two sisters, Cleo Henley and Gladys Ruehle preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Monday, 1:00 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland where friends may call from 11:45 until 12:45 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
