Ruth Louise Dolney, 93 Columbiana- Ruth Louise Dolney, 93, of St. Maryâa�a��s Alzheimerâa�a��s Center formerly of Elm Court in Struthers died Monday morning at the nursing home. Mrs. Dolney was born November 3, 1912 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of William and Gertrude Culp Pittman. As a young girl she came to this area in the 1920 and to Struthers in 1923. A graduate of Struthers High School, Mrs. Dolney worked at Mazda Lamp Company for two years and then was employed as a clerk in the cosmetic department of Peoples Drugs for nine years. For three years during World War II she worked at Astatic Communications in Youngstown. Mrs. Dolney was a member of the Lowellville Methodist Church. Her husband Oldrich Alan Dolney whom she married January 27, 1940 died January 9, 1992. She is survived by one sister, Patricia Flickinger of Lowellville. Besides her parents and husband Mrs. Dolney was preceded in death by three sisters, Wilda Pittman, Virginia Heirding and Marion Bakalar, and six brothers, Earl, Carl, Raymond, Herbert, Byron and William Pittman. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the funeral home.
