Services will be held Tuesday, 6:00pm at Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman for Russell L. Walsh, 48. He passed away Friday morning at his home.
Mr. Walsh was born June 7, 1962 in Youngstown. He is a retired equipment operator .
He was an avid fisherman, Cleveland Browns and John Wayne fan.
Surviving him is his wife of 24 years, the former Robin Patterson, his mother Myrtle Walsh Flowers, a daughter Cecilia Walsh, three sons Shane, Daniel and Russell Walsh, two sisters Linda (Frankie) Martinez and Della Martinez, a brother Keith Walsh, two brother in laws Vince Patterson and Ronald Vodhanel, and father and mother in law Paul and Virginia Shanabarger. Also, four grandchildren, Shelby and David Slate and Sonja and Daniel Walsh, Jr. And several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death is a step father Leo Flowers, a sister in law Jennifer Vodhanel ,a brother in law Jose Martinez, and his Grandmother, Myrtle Walsh.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4-6pm at the funeral home.
Russell gave the gift of life through organ donation.
