Russell H. Scott, 91

Services will be held Sunday, 2:00pm at Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman for Russell H. Scott, 91 of Park Vista formerly of Poland. He passed away Thursday evening at St Elizabeth Health Center.
Mr. Scott was born Dec. 8, 1919 in Youngstown a son of David J. and Fanny E. Price Scott. He was a graduate the 1938 January class of South High School and was employed by Republic Steel as the head accountant in audit and procedures.
He was a US Army veteran of WWII serving in the 178th Engineer Combat Battalion.
Russell was a member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church and its Forever Young Club. He was acitive in both the Mahoning Valley and Poland Historical Societies, the Ohio Cultural Alliance, and the American Legion #15.
His first wife the former Mary Jane Ferrante whom he married Oct. 16, 1950 died Sept. 14, 1989.
Surviving him is his wife, Mae Belle Angelemyer McMillin Scott, whom he married July 25, 1992. Step children Judy Wirfs and Philip McMillin both of Romona, Calf. A sister, Dee (Scott) Schulz of Houston, TX, sister in law, Alice Ferrante and brother in law, Benny Ferrante. Also several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death besides his parents and first wife are two brothers, William and Robert Scott and a sister-in-law Louise Ferrante.
Friends may call Sunday from 1:30-2:00p.m. at the funeral home.
