Roy N. Bloomberg,82 Struthers-Roy N. Bloomberg, 82, of 2082 Knollwood Dr. died Sunday afternoon at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mr. Bloomberg was born May 8,1923 in Struthers, a son of Oscar W. and Elizabeth Johnson Bloomberg. He was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1942 graduate of Struthers High School. He was a machinist at Youngstown Sheet and Tube (LTV). He was a member of the Struthers Boosters Association and was an avid sports fan. His wife, the former Mary Bresser, whom he married September 2,1946, died November 9,1982. He leaves three daughters ,Kathy (Gary) Taylor of Houston, TX, Karen (Joe) Becker of Struthers., and Kristine (Bill) Bole of Poland; a brother, Robert Bloomberg of Struthers; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and dear friend of Patricia Edwards. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Bloomberg; one sister, Helen Cashon; and one sister-in-law Janet Bloomberg.
