Poland - Roxanne S. Armile of Poland, died Thursday afternoon at Assumption Village. Roxanne was born in Youngstown and was a daughter of George and Armena Simonoff..
She was raised in Youngstown and was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and attended Youngstown College. Roxanne worked as a purchasing agent for Youngstown State University. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church.
Her husband, Alfred A. Armile whom she married September 4, 1954 died December 29, 2001. She leaves two daughters, Judi (Peter) Morell of Cleveland and Jayne (Edward) Carlini of Boardman; two sons, Dr. James (Dr.Theresa Marx) Armile of Poland and Joel (Christine) Armile of Cedar Falls, IA; one sister, Helen (Joseph) Pavlov of Poland; one brother, Leon (Shake) Simonoff of Boardman; and ten grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica, and Jaclyn Morell, Nicholas, Anthony, and Michael Armile, Mark, Andrew, and Elise Armile, and Joseph Carlini.
Besides her husband and parents, Roxanne was preceded in death by one son, Alfred Armile Jr. and brother, Archie Simonoff.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 29th at 10:00 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Friends will be received Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held Saturday at 9:15 AM.
