Rosemary Pallante Woods

Niles - Rosemary Pallante Woods, 62, of Niles, died Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at the Liberty Health Care Center. Mrs. Woods was born January 26, 1947 in Youngstown, a daughter of Mary Pallante. She was raised in Briar Hill. Mrs. Woods was a homemaker, who enjoyed her Italian heritage, dancing, listening to music, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was Catholic by faith. Her husband, Harry "Dave" Woods, whom she married October 26, 1968, died December 15, 2007. She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn "JoJo" (Bob) Nolfi of Niles and Stephanie (John) Renier of Niles; four grandchildren, Anthony and Michael Nolfi and Shana and Sydney Woods; one brother, Eugene (Joyce) Lopez of Youngstown; her stepfather, Carl Lopez; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lopez. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers. Interment will follow at the Poland Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends will be received Friday from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
