Struthers - Rosemary Cremens, 82, of Poland, formerly of Struthers, died Monday evening at Hampton Woods Nursing Facility.
Rosemary was born October 1, 1927 in Youngstown, a daughter of Anthony and Agnes Loftus Rouan. She was raised in Youngstown and moved to Struthers in 1955 until residing at Hampton Woods three years ago.
A 1946 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Rosemary worked at Youngstown State University, beginning as a clerk in the bookstore and working her way up to the Bursar's Office. She retired as head cashier of the Bursar's Office in 1993 after 27 years of services.
She was a member of Y.S.U. Retirees Association, member and past president of the Ohio Civil Service Employee Association and St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church.
Rosemary enjoyed crocheting, reading, and raising dogs. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters, especially on their trip to Ireland, but her greatest joy in life was watching her grandchildren grow and sharing in their accomplishments.
She leaves her two daughters whom she raised alone, Diana Cremens and Marybeth Myers both of Struthers; two sisters, Dorothy R. Gebhard of NY and Anne C. Anastis of Howland; three grandchildren, Kevin M. Myers, Brian C. Myers, and Jennifer R. Myers; sister-in-law, Kay Rouan of MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah L. and brother-in-law, Charles V. Byrne; brother, Paul A. Rouan; and brothers-in-law, Paul C. Gebhard and John P. Anastis.
Prayer services will be held Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church with Father Bernard Bonnot officiating.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
Friends will be received Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rosemary's daughters would like to extend their sincere gratitude for the care and support of Dr. Santuccio Ricciardi and his staff as well as the nurses and aides at Hampton Woods.
The family requests that memorial contributions go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 5208 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, OH 44515
