Rose Adeline Whiteside, 93 Struthers- Rose Adeline Whiteside, 93 of Maplecrest Nursing Home formerly of 1043 Garfield Street, died early Friday morning at the nursing home. Mrs. Whiteside was born May 13, 1911 in Campbell, a daughter of Anthony and Lucy Leone Parrish. She was raised in Campbell and lived in Youngstown before coming to Struthers in 1958. As a young girl she worked at Campbell Electric in Campbell and at Thornton Laundry. She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church and a former member of The Moose Lodge. Her husband George Whiteside whom she married October 28, 1929 died March 3, 1975. She leaves four daughters, Doris Whiteside and Gwen (Jeff) Pantall both of Struthers, Evelyn (James) Osborne of Boardman, and Rosemarie (Lloyd) Fisher of McDonald; one son, George (Delores) Whiteside of Del Ray, Florida; three sisters, Mary Zinghini of Niles, Mildred Franklin of North Jackson and Annie Klopta of Youngstown; three brothers, Nicholas Parrish of Struthers and Anthony Parrish of Youngstown; eighteen grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, one son, Kenneth Whiteside, three brothers, John, Angelo and James Parrish and one grandson, Brian preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, 10:00 A.M. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home and 10:30 A.M at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. Friends may call Monday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home
