Rose M. Slaven,76 Lowellville- Rose M. Slaven, 76, of 520 W. Walnut St. died Saturday morning at her home. Mrs. Slaven was born in Lowellville January 9, 1928, a daughter of John and Rosa Juliano Donatelli. She was a lifetime resident of Lowellville. She was a 1946 graduate of Lowellville High School, where she was the Cafeteria Manager for the past 24 years. Mrs. Slaven was a very active member at Holy Rosary Church and a member of the Mount Carmel Society. She belonged to various card clubs and was a bocce enthusiast. Her husband, George E. Slaven, whom she married, April 28, 1948, died March 16, 1985. She leaves three sons, Chip and his wife Lynda of Virginia Beach, VA, Gary and his wife Bonnie of Lowellville, and Bill and his wife Barb of Lowellville; ten grandchildren, Missy, Susan, Stephen, Leah, Joseph, Stacy, Robert, Dannielle, Bill, and Sam; and four great-grandchildren, Kristina, Robert, Emily, and Jake. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Daniel, Ormondo, Michael, William, and Orlando Donatelli; and two infant sisters. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, coworkers, and all the students of` Lowellville Schools. Friends may call Monday from 3-8 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville. Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville and 10:30 AM at Holy Rosary Church.
