Rose M. Scott

Rose M. Scott, 89 North Lima- Rose M. Scott, 89, formerly of 204 Como Street, Struthers, died Monday morning at Caprice Health Center. Mrs. Scott was born January 17, 1914 in Hubbard, a daughter of Anthony and Maria Grace Porfilio Meshot. She moved to Struthers from Hubbard in 1940. She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a 1932 graduate of Hubbard High School and a member of the National A.A.R.P. She was a Homemaker. Her husband, Frank R. Scott, Sr., whom she married September 7, 1940 died October 5, 1986. She leaves three daughters, Sister Kathleen Scott, L.C.M., of Toledo, Lauretta (Thomas) Cebula of Campbell and Margaret (Chris) Kohl of Struthers; one son, Frank (Charlotte) Scott, Jr., of Struthers; one sister, Genevieve V. Meshot of Youngstown and eight grandchildren, Julie (Jack) White, Beth Anne (Ernest) Purnsley, Frank V., Rosanne and Gregory M. Scott and Christopher, Matthew and Scott Kohl. Besides her parents and husband, one sister, Fannie Meshot and four brothers, Felix, Louis, Dominic and James Meshot preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Friday 10:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home and 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. Friends may call Thursday, from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
