Rose M. Daichendt, 95
RAVENNA - Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Boardman for Rose Daichendt, 95, formerly of Austintown. She passed away Wednesday morning at the home of her son in Ravenna.
Mrs. Daichendt was born Feb. 8, 1916, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Marie Gotsch Vosch. She was a homemaker and member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed helping out in the kitchen for church functions. She was also a member of Saxon Club-Branch 22 and Cornersburg Senior Citizens.
Her husband, John Daichendt, whom she married April 28, 1962, died Sept. 16, 1995.
Surviving her is a son, John (Pam) Vosch of Ravenna; two stepdaughters, Margaret (Ken) Matteson of Boardman and Virginia Vincent of Newport Richey, Fla.; a stepson, John (Nancy) Daichendt Jr. of Boardman; a sister, Betty Ferguson of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents, are five brothers Mike, Martin, Milford, George, and John Vosch; and two sisters, Mary Schenker and Peggy Fakner.
Friends may call Friday from 10 to 10:50 a.m. at the church.
