Rose (Bindel) Colucci

Rose H. Colucci 86, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, August 22 at Parkside Healthcare Center with family at her bedside.

Rose was born on May 1, 1933 in Struthers, Ohio, a daughter of Herman and Emma Anker Bindel. Rose was a graduate of Struthers High School and worked as a bank teller at Mahoning National Bank until she retired in 1995. She married Steve Colucci in 1952 and they had two children, Gregory and Cynthia.

Rose loved to play cards with her family and friends, and she adored dogs. She was very social, loved to talk and had a beautiful smile that would light up a room. Rose had a sweet tooth and loved desserts.

She leaves behind her beloved sisters, Doris Bindel of Struthers and Lenore Salmen of Lancaster, as well as many nieces and nephews who adored her.

Besides her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her three sisters, Margot Kesler, Ruth Tortora, Irma LaVelle; her brother Herman Bindel and her two children, Gregory Colucci and Cynthia Colucci.
