Rose M. Ciavarella âa�" 76 POLAND âa�" Rose M. Ciavarella, 76 of Poland, died peacefully Monday morning at her residence after a brief illness. She was born in Youngstown on November 25, 1930, a daughter of Alex and Helen Masonic Hnatiw. She moved from Youngstown to Poland in 1968. Mrs. Ciavarella attended the Youngstown Schools and East High School. She belonged to the Red Hat Society, and loved Cross Stitching. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ciavarella worked for Inglis Greenhouse for 25 years in Retail Sales, before her retirement in 2005. She was a Methodist by faith. Her husband, Angelo L. Ciavarella whom she married May 8, 1948, died October 30, 1993. She leaves one daughter, Kathie R. (Cy) Lutz of Poland, two sons, Angelo L. (Mary) Ciavarella of Poland, John P. (Debi) Ciavarella, Sr., of Boardman, three sisters, Helen Parknavy of Poland, Margaret Hudak of Youngstown, Betty Hudak of Youngstown, two brothers, John (Carmel) Fashank of Massillon, Gerald (Marge) Velasquez of Boardman, six grandchildren, John (Missy) Kountz, Jenni (Joe) Shoemaker, David (Fiancé Elizabeth Kallstrom) Ciavarella, Matthew Ciavarella, John P. Ciavarella, Jr., Diane N. Ciavarella; three step-grandhildren, Amy (Greg) DeRodes; Gwen (Jason) Swiger, Holly (Steve) Albaugh; Nine great-grandchildren, Logan, Paige, Jacob, Abbie, Tyson, Olivia, Maggie, Nathan, Caden; Three brothers-in-law, Sam Ciavarella; James (Terry) Ciavarella, Jack (Marge) Ciavarella, and three sisters-in-law, Rose Peterson, Josephine Ciavarella, Barb (Gary) Heeley. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 5-8 at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, where funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 am., friends may call Thursday morning from 9:00 âa�" 9:45 am. Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given in Mrs. Ciavarellaâa�a��s name to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
