POLAND Â Rose M. Boticke, 90, of 1874 Cover Drive, died Friday morning at The Greenbrier. She was born June 22, 1917 in Youngstown a daughter of Lorenzo and Caroline Lorenzo Perna. Mrs. Boticke was a 1935 graduate of South High School and was a Charter Member of the Holy Family Church in Poland, where she was past president of the Altar Guild. She wrote and helped create cookbooks as fundraisers for the church. Mrs. Boticke was a WWII U.S. Coast Guard veteran and was the Secretary/Treasurer and a member of the 37th Veterans Division Group. She loved to Ballroom dance with her husband, Tim. Her husband Thomas "Tim" F. Boticke, whom she married May 2, 1953, died Aug. 17, 2002. Mrs. Boticke is survived by her son, George (Laurie) Boticke of Aurora, Colo., two grandchildren, Brittany and Nicole Boticke, both of Aurora, Colo.; one sister, Anne (Andy) Fabry of California; and two nephews, Lawrence (Elsie) Marra of Poland and Pasquale Marra of California. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Celestine Marra and Josephine Reigle, and one brother, Sam Perna. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland, where prayer services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Church in Poland.
