Rose M. Ambrosia

Lowellville - Rose M. Ambrosia, 90, of Lowellville, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mrs. Ambrosia was born February 6, 1918 in Hillsville, Pa, the daughter of the late Ben and Flora Schutz Polas. Mrs. Ambrosia was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and watching daily Mass on TV. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. Her husband, Tony Ambrosia, whom she married November 16, 1940, died February 10, 2008. She leaves her son, Paul (Darlene) Ambrosia of Hubbard; and two brothers, Leonard (Jan) Polas and Don (Rose) Polas, both of Poland. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Lowellville and 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church with Rev. G. David Weikart officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery. Family and friends will be received Saturday morning from 8:30 am - 10:00 am. at the funeral home.
