Poland- Rosalie Bryant, 82, of Poland, died Monday evening, November 9, 2009 at Maplecrest Nursing Home where she was lovingly cared for.
Rosalie was born July 4, 1927 in Industry, PA, a son of the late Okie and Agnes Goedeker Watson.
She was a 1945 graduate of Wilson High School and a homemaker. Rosalie was a member of the Poland United Methodist Church, the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Ruth Shrine No. 64 and the Order of the Eastern Star Lamplight Chapter 582. Her interests included baking, cooking, bingo, playing cards, and bowling.
Her husband, Paul N. Bryant Sr., whom she married July 15, 1948, died June 24, 1985. She leaves two daughters, Susan Bryant of Poland and Carrie (David) Price of Austintown; two sisters, Gloria Grigsby and Evelyn Grigsby, both of West Virginia; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Paul N. Bryant, Jr. and her brother, Okie C. Watson.
Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland with Rev. Susan Holley officiating. Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Friends will be received Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
