HUBBARD - Ronald N. Patrick, 61, formerly of Poland, died Thursday morning, Oct. 6, 2011, at Northside Medical Center.
"Ron" was born Jan. 7, 1950, in Youngstown, a son of the late Ernest and Dorothy Miller Patrick.
He attended Poland Seminary High School, until enlisting in the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. While in the service, he received his G.E.D. Ron was an ironworker and a member of the Local Iron Workers Union No. 207.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 2304 in Indian River, Fla. and The Army & Navy Union in Youngstown. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and watching NASCAR.
He leaves his son, Christopher (Bonnie) Patrick of Salem; daughter, Deanne McCurdy of Canfield; sister, Sharon Mosconi of Boardman; two brothers, William Patrick of Atwater and Robert (Angela) Patrick of Campbell; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
