Ronald J. Herman, 77 Youngstown- Ronald J. Herman,77, died Tuesday morning at Carrington South. He was born in Campbell February 6, 1927, a son of Otto B. and Genieve Sod Herman. Mr. Herman graduated from South High School and was a Truck Driver for U.S. Steel for over 30 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Campbell VFW and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Pacific during WW II. He leaves his wife, the former, Reva Marteney, whom he married in 1984; and one brother, John (Ann) Herman of Boardman; two step-son, Larry (Debbie) Marteney of New Waterford and David Marteney of Alabama; and two step-grandchildren, Daniel Blaine and Stephany Seaira Darby. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lucy Herman-Hess; and one still-born brother. Funeral services will be Friday 10AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
