Ronald Reese Hamilton, 67 Struthers- Ronald Reese Hamilton, 67, of 216 E. Omar Street died Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mr. Hamilton was born April 26, 1936 in Struthers, a son of Jay and Lily Ward Hamilton. He was a life-long area resident. He was a 1953 graduate of Struthers High School and worked in Quality Control for over 30 years for both Youngstown Sheet and Tube and LTV. For several years after retirement he worked in the warehouse of Millerâa�a��s Buckey Biscuit. He served in the United States Navy from 1955 until 1957. At the time of his discharge he joined the Naval Reserves serving from 1957 until 1961. He was a member of the Struthers United Methodist Church where he was a former Board of Trustee, Sunday School teacher and member of the church bowling league. He enjoyed reading and sports and took an active interest while his children were involved in Little League Baseball by serving as umpire and assisting in coaching. Besides his wife the former Roselyn Mang whom he married August 19, 1961, he leaves two daughters, April (Joe) Sefcik of Struthers and Victoria (Jeff) Naples of Middlefield, Ohio; one son, Robert (Nicole) Hamilton of Akron; two sisters, Dorothy Piper of Lowellville and Janet Baker of Poland; one sister-in-law, Frances Hamilton of Poland; his mother-in-law Katherine Varone at home; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Zachary, John and Daniel Sefcik and Adriana Naples. Two infant daughters, Maureen and Christine and one brother Jay Hamilton preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Monday, 10:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral, Struthers where friends may call from 5-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
