Ronald L. ³Daisy² Adams, 78
BOARDMAN Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Evangel Baptist Church for Ronald L. ³Daisy² Adams, 78, formerly of Argyle Avenue. He passed away Thursday morning at his home.
Mr. Adams was born on Sept. 4, 1933, in Climax Pa., a son of Phillip L. and Alta L. Holibaugh Adams.
He was an electrician for LTV Steel Company and later worked for Youngstown Steel Door. He was a member of the United Steel Worker Union.
A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served in the U.S. Army and was member of the 44th Combat Engineers Broken Heart Division.
Surviving him is his wife, the former Betty Spare, whom he married Dec. 3, 1955; three daughters, Kathy (Kirk) Lovrinovicz of Boardman, Rebecca Adams of Youngstown and Dr. Laurie Platz of Las Vegas; a brother, Stan Adams of Hawthorn, Pa.; and three grandchildren, Josh and Erin Lovrinovicz and Michael Kapnitsky.
Preceding him in death besides his parents is a brother, Lawrence Adams.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman and Monday from 10 to 10:50 a.m. at the church.
