Roger William Walton, 67

BOARDMAN - Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, in Boardman, for Roger William Walton, 67. He passed away Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman Campus.
Mr. Walton was born May 6, 1944, in New York City, a son of William J. and Lillian Schubert Walton.
After his discharge from the U.S. Army, he was employed at American Church as the data processing manager, retiring in April of 2010.
He is a member of the Boardman United Methodist Church and served as an usher.
Surviving him is his wife, Diana ReMine Walton, whom he married April 13, 1968; a daughter, Karen Walton Fowler of Richmond, Va.; a son, Paul S. (Stacy) Walton of Hampstead, N.C.; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Trego and Judy Hueston; a mother-in-law, Miriam ReMine, all of Richmond; his stepbrother, Dr. Edward (Kathy) Koch of McLean, Va; his three grandchildren, Alexis Walton, Aaron Walton and Hannah Fowler; and also extended family members and friends.
Preceding him in death besides his parents, is a stepmother, Ruth K. Walton and his father-in-law, James A. ReMine.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., both at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond.
The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Heart Association , 840 Southwestern Run, Poland, OH 44514.
