Robert "Bags" W. Baghurst Jr.

Youngstown - Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11am at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St. Boardman, for Robert W. Baghurst Jr. "Bags", who went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2016.

Bob was born on January 5, 1963 in Youngstown. He was the son of Robert "Bob" W. Baghurst Sr. and Roberta (Bobbie) Baghurst and brother to Rhonda (Baghurst) Cross and Rae (Baghurst) Clones.

Bob married Gloria Makosky on August 22, 1995, and fathered three loving children with her; his twins Robert William III and Randi Nicole, and his daughter, Rachel Sarah. He was a dedicated husband and a proud father.

After graduating from Boardman High School, class of 1981, he went on to work at WC Zabel, Energy Transfer, Advetech, Blackthorn Tools and Unity Tube. Bob created lifelong relationships with many of those he met in his work and at school. He will be dearly missed by the friends and family whom he has had to leave too soon.

Though Bob spent most of his time with family and friends, he also had a love of motorcycles, racing, and NASCAR which he shared with his children.

In Bob’s passing, he was able to give the gift of life through organ donation.

Visitation will be Friday from 4-7pm and prior to the service on Saturday from 10-10:45am at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made directly to his family.
