Boardman - Roberta "Bobbie" E. Rauschenbach, 74 of Boardman, Ohio, died Sunday, October 31, 2010 after a lengthy illness.
She was born June 22, 1936 in Youngstown, a daughter of Fred and Dorothy Morrow Poppineau.
Bobbie was raised in Youngstown and graduated from The Rayen School in 1956.
Bobbie enjoyed needle point, puzzle books, casinos, and especially camping at Green Acres Campground, which she considered her second home. Her greatest joy though was her twelve grandchildren whom she traveled all over the US to visit every winter. She also enjoyed traveling to Scotland and Bermuda.
She is survived by her children, John VanDyke, Denise Wagner, Linda (Ray) Willson, Bobby Rauschenbach, David (Melanie) Rauschenbach, and Bill (Lisa) Rauschenbach, her sisters, Mary Alice Romito, Dottie Poppineau, her twin and Jayne Wilson, her twelve grandchildren, her Green Acres Family, and her first husband, John VanDyke. Bobbie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, William Poppineau, and her second husband, Robert Rauschenbach.
Family and friends will be received Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, and Friday from 9:30 - 10:15 am where funeral services will be held at 10:30am.
