Roberta Helen Griffiths

Roberta Helen Griffiths, 76 New Philadelphia- Roberta Helen Griffiths, 76 of the Amberwood Manor, formerly of Boardman, died Wednesday evening at the residence. Mrs. Griffiths was born September 23, 1928 in Lakewood, Ohio a daughter of Leonard and Pearl Brokaw Griffiths. She was a 1946 graduate of Lakewood High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and reading books of all types. Her husband, Edwin D. Griffiths, whom she married October 2, 1948 died January 1, 1999. She leaves three daughters, Karen (James) Hayes of Lisbon, Judy (Robert) Carlisle of New Philadelphia, Janet (Earl) Henry of Uhrichsville, Ohio; three sons, Daniel Griffiths of New Philadelphia, Curtis, (Becky) Griffiths of Bowerstown, Ohio, John (Joann) Griffiths of Austintown; a sister, Marion Clinger of Fairview Park, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A son James David Griffiths and a grandson Jason Robert Carlisle are deceased. A memorial service will be Monday at 1:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
