Robert L. Ward

Robert L. Ward, 73 Lowellville- Robert L. Ward, 73, of 318 E. Wood Street died Wednesday afternoon at his residence. Mr. Ward was born January 15, 1930 in Philippi, West Virginia, a son of Lee and Gladys Wheeler Ward. He came to Lowellville in 1968. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired. His wife the former Murlene Himes whom he married October 11, 1952 died August 3, 2000. He leaves three daughters, Roberta Pryor and Kathy Ward both of Sunbury, Ohio and Janet Johnson of Struthers; two brothers, Carl Ward of Canton and Eldon Ward of Columbia, South Carolina and two grandsons, Jamie Johnson and Dylan Pryor. Besides his parents and wife, two brothers, Lewis Newton and Daris Ward preceded him in death. Private funeral services will held Saturday. Friend
