Struthers - Robert Walker, 88 died early Friday morning at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House.
Robert was born January 6, 1923 in Youngstown, a son of William and Nellie Walker.
He worked as a truck driver at Trehan Freight in Youngstown for 22 years, and later went on to work for the road department in Poland Twp.
He was a member of Christ Community Church in Campbell.
He is survived by his wife the former Laverne Brabant, whom she married Aug. 5, 1985; a daughter, Bobbie (Robert) Greeneisen of Struthers; a son, William (Rebecca) Walker of Struthers; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 8 siblings.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2PM at Christ Community Church Pastor Bill Rotar officiating.
Friends may call Monday from 12-1:45PM at the Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
