Robert Michael Vrabel

Robert Michael Vrabel, 68 Struthers- Robert Michael Vrabel, 68, of Helena Drive died early Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mr. Vrabel was born March 2, 1935 in Struthers, a son of Michael and Mary Lutz Vrabel. He was a life-long area resident. He was a 1954 graduate of Struthers High School and was a Die Setter for Youngstown Steel Door Company for over 30 years retiring in 1986. He was a Past Grand Knight of Struthers Knights of Columbus #4224 and was a former Struthers volunteer firefighter. He was a member of the Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church. He will be sadly missed by his wife the former Donna J. Shevetz with whom he married November 9, 1957; one son Robert Vrabel Jr. of Struthers; one daughter, Debbie (Tim) Yeager of Poland; one sister, JoAnn Swierz of Poland and two grandchildren, Tara and Leanna Yeager. Besides his parents, one sister, Betty Zelina preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Monday, 9:15 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers and 10:00 AM at the Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church in Boardman. Friends may call Sunday from 5-8 PM at the Funeral Home where a Parastas will be held at 7:30 PM.
