Robert J. Skebo

Robert J. Skebo, 80 Struthers-Robert J. Skebo, 80, of 110 Iroquois died Monday evening at his residence. He was born in Youngstown September 12, 1924, a son of Joseph and Barbara Vasko Skebo. Mr. Skebo was a 1942 graduate of Wilson High School. He worked at Cold Metal Products retiring in 1986. He also retired from the credit department at Kaufmanns. He was a member of the Boys Scouts, Struthers VFW Post 3538, and the Holy Name. He also was a member of the St. Nicholas Church; where he was in the Altar Rosary Society and the Infant Jesus of Prague. Mr. Skebo was a veteran of United States Navy during WWII. He leaves his wife the former ,Irene Latos, whom he married, May 21, 1949; one daughter, Eileen (Steve) Semivan of Denver, CO; two sons, Ronald (Cathy) Skebo of Parma, OH and Robert (Chris) of Beaver Creek, OH; two sisters, Sue (Ray) Hatala of Poland and Mary Gondor of Struthers; two brothers, William (Dorothy) Skebo of Boardman and Joseph (Katherine) Skebo of Boardman; and 7 grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday 10AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers and 10:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Church.u Friends may call Thursday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
