Struthers - Robert A. Repasky, 78, of Struthers, died Thursday afternoon, August 13, 2015 at Masternick Memorial.
Robert, affectionately known as Bob, was born June 15, 1937 in Struthers, a son of the late Andrew and Rose Steiner Repasky.
A 1955 graduate of Struthers High School, Bob enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and proudly served from 1956 until 1958.
Returning to Struthers, Bob worked at Mold Tech of Ohio for over 30 years and retired in 2000. He then established an engraving company in New Castle, Pa., Custom Etch, and served as its President and General Manager for 10 years. He retired from Custom Ech in 2010.
Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4224 and the Perpetual Adoration at Mt. Carmel Church. He was a member of Holy family Church. Bob's faith was very important to him. He read the bible daily and attended church every day. Bob also loved his sports, especially Boxing. His was an avid fan and loyal follower of his three favorite football teams, Struthers Wildcats, YSU Penguins where he was a member of the Penguin Club and the Curbstone Coaches, and the Cleveland Browns.
He leaves his wife, the former Patricia Davis, whom he married September 17, 1960; one son, Randall Repasky at home; one daughter, Rhonda (David) Capan of Poland; three grandchildren, Courtney, Brittany, and David Capan; and one brother, Raymond (Barbara) Repasky of Struthers.
A Prayer Service will be held on Monday at 9:15 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church with the Rev. Msgr. William J. Connell officiating. Interment will follow at the Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received Sunday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home in Struthers.
