Robert W. Orosz

Robert W. Orosz, 66 Struthers- Robert W. Orosz, 66, of 1154 Fifth Street died Monday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center where he was taken after being stricken at home. He was born November 18, 1938 in Youngstown a son of Frank and Stella Wroblewski Orosz. He was a life long resident of the area. A 1958 graduate of Ursuline High School, Mr. Orosz was an Army Veteran serving in Korea. He had been an assembler at the Lordstown General Motors Assembly Plant, retiring after 30 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church. He was an accordion player having played in the Lapinski Family Band as a young man, still enjoying polka music, an avid golfer and most of all loved being with his family. Mr Orosz leaves his wife, the former Sally Ann Allshouse whom he married May 5, 1973; two daughters, Jill Ann (Richard) Buzzard of Austintown and Sara Lynn Orosz of Poland; three sisters, Helen Jean (Robert) Christie of Ocean Pines, Maryland, Mary (Gary) Roth of Hubbard and Dorothy (David) Vernarsky of Campbell; two brothers, Edward (Janet) Orosz of Vestal, New York and Stephen (Donna) Orosz of Poland; three grandchildren, Jacalyn Buzzard, Christina Buzzard and Morgan Buzzard. A sister, Jeanette is deceased. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church by Father Joseph Rudjak on Friday at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday and from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers where a prayer will be conducted Friday at 10:30 AM prior to the procession to church.
