Robert M. McLean, age 77, of Monaca, PA, died on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in Kindred Hospital in Beaver, PA. He was born in Thomas, WV on April 6, 1937 and was a graduate of Youngstown East High School.
Robert retired from Commercial Intertech following 40 years of employment. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, enjoyed model railroads and model planes and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Rose McLean in 2009; his mother, Grace McLean; his father and stepmother, Robert and Dora McLean.
He leaves his son, Robert (Steven Anderson) McLean of Monaca, PA; two daughters, Christine (Ray) Valdez of Cypress, CA and Shari (Lee) Brewer of Troy, OH; grandchildren, Parker and Noah Anderson and Raymond Valdez; his sister, Mary Trepak and his dog, Nicky.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday January 10, 2015 from 1:00-1:45pm at St. Dominic Church, 77 Lucius Ave. Youngstown, OH 44507, where a memorial mass will follow at 2:00pm. The family asks that any donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
