New Middletown - Robert J. Husted, 78, of New Middletown, died September 10, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
He was born September 13, 1937 in Youngstown, a son of George and Dorothy Robinette Husted.
Robert attended Austintown Fitch High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He was a member of the New Springfield VFW Post 2799 and he enjoyed politics and going to engine shows.
He is survived by one son, Cory (Kelly) Husted of North Lima; and one sister, Marian (Stephen) DeGenaro of Hubbard; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
A celebration of his life open house will be held Saturday from 1-4PM at the New Springfield VFW, 3161 E. South Range Rd., New Springfield, OH 44445.
