Robert M. Hindson

Canfield - Robert M. Hindson, 82, of Canfield, died Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Bob was born April 4, 1930 in Youngstown, a son of the late Arthur and Alice Armstrong Hindson.
A 1948 graduate of The Rayen School, Bob attended Youngstown College. He worked for Goodyear Tire company prior to starting his own tire business, Hindson Tire Service, Inc in the 1950's. He retired after selling the business in 1987. Bob was a former member of Western Star Lodge and a 32nd degree Mason of the Valley of Scottish Rite and a former member of Aut Mori Grotto. Bob loved sailing and was a long time member of the Pymatuning Yacht Club Bob also enjoyed riding his Honda Gold Wing.
Bob leaves his wife the former, Sabra Brothers whom he married January 30, 1960; one daughter, Laura (John Jr.) Scotford of Poland; one brother, Dean Hindson of Santa Monica, CA; and three grandchildren, Sam, Sydney, and Jim Scotford.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland, with Pastor Reid Lamport officiating. Interment will follow at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
Friends will be received Saturday from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
