Poland - Robert Davis, 83, died April 11, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Boardman Campus.
Mr. Davis was born May 5, 1928 in Youngstown, a son of D. Myron and Marian E. McCready Davis.
He was a 1946 Rayen High School graduate and went on work at Wean United. Upon retiring from there he went in to real estate for Coldwell Banker, retiring in 2004 with 20 years of service. He was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church. He also was a life member of the Ohio Gun Collectors. Robert was also a lifetime member of Sulgrave Lodge F&AM 696. He was a veteran of the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He leaves behind his wife of 10 years Eleanor of Poland; two step- daughters, Kathy (Rick) Miley of Roanoke,VA and Kelly (James) Mohan of Montgomery, TX; a sister, Ellen J. Davis of Boardman; five grandchildren, Lauren, Ricky and Ryan Miley all of Roanoke; Kaitlyn and Zachary Mohan both of Montgomery.
Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, J. William Davis.
Funeral services with military honors will be held at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home Poland, Monday at 12:00 PM with Pastor Bob Reese officiating
Friends will be received Monday 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the funeral home.
