STRUTHERS - Robert J. "Chooch" Chudik, 54, died Friday Dec. 23, 2011, at his residence.
Robert was born June 3, 1957, in Youngstown, a son of Atty. John H. and Virginia McCreary Chudik.
He was a 1975 graduate of Struthers High School. He retired from WCI Steel in 2006, after 30 years of services as a Millwright.
Robert loved to ride his motorcycle and traveled to many states and lived life with a passion. He enjoyed ice hockey and baseball.
He is survived by his beloved wife, the former Cynthia Zapka, whom he married July 10, 1982; a beloved daughter, Melanie V. Chudik, whom he adored; two sisters, Marijo (Tony) Martin of Westerville and Cassy (Randy) Taylor of Dublin; a brother, Mike (Maggie) Chudik of Westerville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Funeral services will be Monday at 4 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
