Struthers - Robert A. Braho, 83, passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House on Monday, May 6, 2024.
Robert was born February 11, 1941 to Andrew J. and Susan (Vanta) Braho of Pulaski, PA.
He graduated from Wilmington Area High School in 1959 and joined the U.S. Army where he served proudly. His best times were served in Turkey, where he spent two years.
Upon returning, he worked on the family farm and eventually moved to Struthers in 1976. Robert worked as a heavy machinery mechanic for over 30 years at Sheldon Gantt in Niles. His passion was building and fixing cars.
Robert leaves behind the love of his life, the former Judith A. Cummerick, whom he married on August 6, 1966; a daughter Lee Ann (Christopher) Meadors of Youngstown, OH; a son, Stephen A. Braho of Struthers, OH; two granddaughters, Natalie Meadors and Emily Meadors.
Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son, Robert "Bink" Braho.
Per Robert's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service at this time.
The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to the staff at the Hope Center and to the loving, caring nurses and staff at the Hospice House.
Arrangements are being handled by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring Street in Struthers.
