Robert B Rishel

December 26, 1958 — October 3, 2016

Winter Haven - Robert B. Rishel, 57 of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of Boardman, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 in Lakeland Regional Health Center in Florida. Bob was born December 26, 1958 in New Castle, PA, son of the late Robert and Laura Double Rishel.

He was a 1978 graduate of Struthers High School and was employed as an over the road truck driver for 39 years, most recently with Indian River in Winterhaven, FL. Bob was an avid motorcycle rider and loved his Harley. He was a member of the NRA and a former member of St. Anthony's. He was very mechanical and it drove him crazy if there was something he couldn't fix. Bob was a very laid back person who got along with everyone. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone smile and laugh. Bob had a big heart and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He leaves his wife Jennifer Rishel; two sons, Patrick and R.J. Rishel; his sister, Robin (Martin) Shevetz; and two nieces, Sarah (Andrew) Finch and Lauren (John) Phillis.

Robert's memory will live on through the lives he was able to save by being an organ donor.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 244 McGill St. Lowellville, with Chaplain Michael Brozman officiating.

Friends will be received prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home.

Flowers are beautiful, however the family asks that donations be made in Bob's name to Hospice of the Valley, 9803 Sharrott Rd. Poland, OH 44514. .
