Robert Addison Lewis

Boardman - Robert Addison Lewis, 81, of Redtail Hawk in Boardman, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 in Assumption Village. Mr. Lewis was born January 18, 1926 in Butler, PA, a son of Richard and Emma Hesser Lewis. A graduate of Bellview High School, he went on to attend Bucknell University and receive his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Rochester. Mr. Lewis worked as a Consultant/Manager for Sanford Rose Associates, retiring in 1986. Mr. Lewis served in the Naval Air Corp during World War II and then the Naval Reserves. His wife, the former Helen Converse, whom he married December 28, 1949, preceded him in death on June 4, 1988. He leaves his daughter, Anne (Paul) Zaitzew of Canfield; and three grandchildren, Jay, Carly, and Lea Zaitzew. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Lewis, Jr. and his brother, Richard Lewis. A private graveside service was held today at the Poland Riverside Cemetery.
