Rita Dittmar

Rita Dittmar, 88 Struthers- Rita Dittmar, 88 of Hopewell Drive, died this weekend at her residence. Mrs. Dittmar was born February 8, 1918 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Marie Knox Geise. She was raised in Youngstown and spent the rest of her life in Struthers. A graduate of South High School, Mrs. Dittmar was a dog groomer, working out of her residence. She was a member of the Struthers Presbyterian Church and the Saxon Club. Her husband Cecil James Dittmar whom she married July 22, 1937 died November 4, 1994. She leaves one son, Martin J. Dittmar of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Chris Dittmar and Andrea Turk and two great-grandsons, Conners and Tailor. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Dittmar was preceded in death by a sister, Sister Lucille and three brothers, Clifford, Clayton and Joseph Geise. Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the funeral home.
