Richard W. Waldele, 62 North Lima- Richard W. Waldele, 62, died Tuesday morning at his residence after an extended illness. He was born June 28, 1939, in Youngstown, to Donald A. and Margret J. Wilson Waldele. He attended school and grew up in Struthers, and has been a lifelong area resident, where he was the owner and operator of Dickâa�a��s Engine Service for over 20 years. Mr. Waldele was a member of the Springfield TWP. Volunteer Fire Department, Station #1, as well as the Struthers Eagles Club. An avid bowler he sponsored his own team. He also was an avid race fan, operating the 88N Purestock Racing Team with his son Jim, and watching Nascar and Dale Earnhardt with his daughter Donna. A former 4-H Club advisor, he was fond of taking his daughter Junith- Sissy to horse shows. He also enjoyed spending time with his son Rick and his Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the framed pictures made for him by his daughter Sherry. He was dearly loved by all of his five children. Besides his wife the former June D. Armstrong, whom he married September 8, 1967, he leaves three daughters: Brandy Lynn McGehee of New Middletown; Donna Jean (Daniel) Burnette of Petersburg; Junith Lee Miller of Claysville, PA; two sons: Richard M. (Marsha) and James D. Waldele both of North Lima; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM, Friday, at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call 6-9 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. And again on Friday, from 10AM until the time of service. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
