Richard "Butch" Sterling Priscaro, 54
NEW MIDDLETOWN - Richard "Butch" Sterling Priscaro, 54, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, after a brief illness.

Mr. Priscaro was born Feb. 1, 1955 in Bessemer, Pa., son of Eugene and LaRue (Grimes) Kuhar.

He was a graduate of Springfield Local High School, where he played football and ran track and the New Castle School of Trades, with a degree in Auto-Diesel Tech. Butch worked as a mechanic for several years and he also did faux finishing and painted houses.

He had 22 years of sobriety by the grace of God. Butch was also a very active member of the Girl Scouts of America. Butch loved gardening, woodworking, watching SCI-FI shows, and most of all a huge Green Bay Packer fan.

Butch was the kind of guy that would absolutely do anything for anybody. He was a man of integrity, respect and honor.

Butch was a soft tissue and cornea donor. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Butch leaves his wife, the former Deborah Kasten; one daughter, Khalea Priscaro of Struthers; one sister, Betty (Donald) Kushner of Poland; three nephews, Vincent (Annette) Kushner, Michael (Mary) Kushner and Randall (Nicole) Kushner, all of Poland; two great-nieces, Kara Kushner and Ashlynn Kushner; three great-nephews, Kevin Kushner, Michael Kushner and Tommy Kushner; two uncles, James (Dolly) Kuhar and Harvey Grimes of Bessemer; and four hand picked "adopted" daughters, Patrice Henderson of Campbell, Katilynn Kinsley of Austintown, Mindi Corn of Washingtonville and Roshell Rankin of Struthers.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and many loved ones.

Family and friends will be received Sunday from 5 to 6:45 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 7 pm.
